The grounds are beautiful, providing plenty of space for the kids to explore. Our room was spacious and came with all the rustic charm you'd expect from an antique-filled mansion. Breakfast was delicious, making it a lovely start to our days.

In my wife’s opinion, having a bathtub without a plug was a bit frustrating.

Rooms are definitely in need of an upgrade. the decor is quite outdated, with some bathrooms showing signs of wear like water stains and chipped ceramics. Additionally, noise from the nearby highway is noticeable, especially if your room is facing the front, which can disrupt the tranquility of your stay.

what a disappointment! the room was tired decor wise, and i didn't see an upgrade or a welcome gift, you know, as i am the only one here. just couldn't bring myself to give a good review, though!

I had an amazing experience at this charming little place! The gardens were well-maintained and provided a peaceful retreat, and my room felt like a delightful blend of vintage elegance and comfort. The staff was genuinely helpful, even preparing takeaway breakfasts for my early tours, which I really appreciated after a long trek. The only downside was the mild language barrier with the staff, but it didn’t hinder my overall enjoyment of my stay.

las mercedes is a lovely place! the owner was super friendly and even catered to my gluten allergy for breakfast. it’s just a short walk to the city center, making it easy to explore. plus, i loved having our bags stored while we were on an excursion.

The rooms were comfortable, and I especially enjoyed the tranquil environment with beautiful gardens. Plus, being a short 10-minute walk from the Plaza de Armas made exploring the city so easy.
